I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
